Its like my wings are prepared and I havent gone anywhere or Im falling falling for you all for you all for you giving giving giving giving giving Ill find some way to bury it so you cant return it under the swings where you didnt kiss me connect to the wires in my arms mismatched and everywhere and and and exposed to fire I hope you feel the same thats why you say nothing bow around our hands of course how it ends with a message light through the trees onto the road only I can see animals figures ideals they cant care

The inn in a jar you screw shut and take with you I love and hate all this time alone Wave at them the process is beginning to end Hope, keeping you hopeless jamming into one word, and that word is sex, I use it for effect a moment before, and one after to calm you down Hey, you got a hole too? The outline, the silhouette Address as you may That nametag, thats the word crisp like a waterfall under your uniform dollar for dollar, youre worth it babe uncover your harmony You're counting streetlights by the dark spots between, smile lines I otherwise, enjoy fireflies, and this Christmas they bring

My friends cheat how do I get in on this? Underpass in a thunderstorm a hard candy shell over the sound of dropping pianos. We are dangerous and could join em Tense and curved graceful handles of a love story to be filled by our conscience Pedals strike first Driven back and open it up to you But then the gold is spilt and split Strings of blood fray And water the trees. at least you're smashing her willingly I want you to escape too (lets get out of here) I never once thought Id be blurry (just lay, band free) wrapped around the mason jar (my old life) milkshake gone the straw sour (my oldest friend) Im tired from all your running (my dear) are you good at it? are you good at it? at figuring out where it goes? Ive said this once, but never again

We've become that story we are the whispered Go and lie to us as long as youre honest with yourself from the start an ex wife, the x somewhere else In a hall of everyone elses art all of this security something meant enough to be crafted and if you can value you can truly live I turn to the oil to find it finished analyzing me the best I can give back to this world my family is to blame for are glazed over screams in my sockets no hand in mind basically nothing at home so please dont go Youre all so pretty when you sing with me before me is time When will it pass, when will it pass in this airport Im the closest to being a destination to no surprise so many in a hurry to leave my home? you tell me where is my home? Why find one at all when I prefer this crowded situation drop our bombs on our places to be

Its not a date anymore Bare to floor to hands to sink to discordant face Your morning, are you sure whats out there? Im the one holding the screen door open Lets finish this together I suppose Tap on the sides (My goods are damaged) and they will escape (I keep them stored in glass jars) out of body I watch (I hate this. Its killing me. I need this) Im not lonely Im observing (Like i need to breathe) I hate this.

about

Although I'll refrain from individual song explanations (if you ask me I will happily tell you), I will say that ISTOANA is about letting go of the great things in our lives...for whatever reason. The songs are observational pieces, little more. This was an EP that needed to happen, all faults are a reflection of us as people/musicians/whatever. Jake and I were in a pretty remarkable state of being when we crafted this thing over those Summer months, one we will never be in again, and thats totally ok. This is just a part of our little timeline doohicky, we like to think we've done good with it.
